Lucas Hirai was born in 1992 in São Paulo, Brazil. He started shooting in 2013, using his cell phone to shoot everything that interested him.
In 2014, he won a MIS contest, and with the prize he bought his first DSLR. From there the records were taking shape. His dissatisfaction with office work and with the university of architecture led him to take more photographs as a way of giving another meaning to the routine.
As his only free time was on the way to work / college and at night, he recorded the streets and alternative parties in São Paulo. Over time, it gained a large enough proportion to leave the college and the office to focus only on photography.
Currently, his work, much influenced by architecture and urbanism, resides in human relations with the places they occupy, addressing mainly the behavior and street culture of São Paulo.
